bmad-build
SkillFiles & storagebmad-build is a skill that turns implementation work into working code, reviewed and verified. It is used when a feature, story, bug fix, or meaningful change is delegated to an agent, including when only a bare story or issue link is provided. It is not intended for obvious, low-risk mechanical maintenance such as small ignore-file changes, typo-only edits, formatting-only work, or configuration tweaks.

What this skill tells your AI
The instructions your AI receives, as published by bmad-code-org/bmad-method in skills/bmad-build/SKILL.md and read by ahel’s review.
Run the following command exactly once without changing the current working directory. Replace {project-root} with the absolute path to the project root and {skill-root} with the absolute path to this skill's directory:
uv run --no-cache "{project-root}/_bmad/scripts/render_skill.py" --project-root "{project-root}" --skill "{skill-root}"
- When the invocation names a route (
oneshotorfull), append--set workflow.route=<value>to the command. - When the invocation names a review selection (
none, quick, orthorough; "skip review" or "no review" meannone), append--set workflow.review=<value>to the command. - On success, read and follow the one absolute
workflow.mdinstruction printed to stdout. - If the script is not found, BMad is not set up here. Offer to run the
bmadskill's setup, installingbmadfirst if you do not have it (npx skills add bmad-code-org/BMAD-METHOD --skill bmad), then run the command above once more. - On any other failure (including
uvbeing unavailable), report the command output and HALT. Do not run any workflow source directly.
