events +subscribe

SkillDev tools

Once added, your AI can subscribe to events in Google Workspace and receive them as they happen, such as new chat messages. Events arrive as a continuous NDJSON stream, one event per line, giving your AI a live feed of Workspace activity to work from.

Available today. Use it from your connected AI after setup.

After adding it, tell your AI which Google Workspace events you want to follow. It will subscribe and start streaming them as they arrive.

Then ask your AI: use the events +subscribe skill

What your AI can do with it

  • Subscribe to Google Workspace events such as new chat messages
  • Receive events continuously as they happen
  • Stream events as NDJSON, one event per line
  • Feed incoming events into other steps your AI is running

What this skill tells your AI

The instructions your AI receives, as published by googleworkspace/cli in skills/gws-events-subscribe/SKILL.md and read by ahel’s review.

PREREQUISITE: Read ../gws-shared/SKILL.md for auth, global flags, and security rules. If missing, run gws generate-skills to create it.
