Common Wiley structure

Title page → Abstract → Keywords → Introduction → Materials and Methods → Results → Discussion (or Results and Discussion) → Conclusion → Acknowledgements → Conflict of Interest → Author Contributions → Data Availability Statement → References → Tables → Figure legends → Figures.

• Abstract: unstructured, typically ≤250 words (review journals may allow more).
• Keywords: typically 5–6.
• Novelty/impact statement: some journals (e.g., Food Frontiers) request a short novelty statement.

Reference style

Most Wiley food journals use author–date; several are APA 7th-style. In-text (Author & Author, 2023); alphabetical list.

Example (APA-style):

Author, A. B., & Author, C. D. (2023). Title of the article. Food Science & Nutrition, 11(4), 1234–1245. https://doi.org/10.1002/fsn3.xxxxx

For eFood (numbered): in-text [1], numbered list.

Figures & tables

Figures ≥300 dpi (line art ≥600–1000 dpi); TIFF/EPS/PDF; RGB online; editable tables; cite in order. Wiley provides an EarlyView production workflow.

Ethics & open access

Most listed titles are Gold open access (APC). Include ethics/consent statements for human/animal studies and an ORCID for the corresponding author.
